More about the person
Prof. Bittmann finished his studies in Human Medicine at the University of Münster, University of Vienna and the Ludwig-Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich, Germany. Doctoral thesis at the Hauner-Children Hospital in Munich. German board certification as pediatrician in 2008 after many years of pediatric surgical education and 900 self-performed surgeries in childhood. Graduate of a master’s degree program in Complementary Medicine at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) in 2013 with graduation of the academic degree of Master of Arts (M.A.). Ongoing pediatric research at Ped Mind Institute. Graduate of an University Degree in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Culture at the Apollon University of Applied Sciences in Bremen 2019. In his professional career, he has published approximately 200 scientific publications and books in the field of pediatrics and pediatric surgery (as of 7/2025). He was appointed as a Visiting Professor in Pediatrics in September 2022 by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Shangluo Vocational and Technical College, University of Shangluo, China, where he holds a teaching position as a German pediatrician. Graduate of the University of Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Said Business School, University of Oxford, United Kingdom in 2025. Appointment at 03/09/2025 as Honorary Professor (Hon.Prof.) and Visiting Professor (Visit.Prof.) as “Double Professorship” at School of Medicine, Shangluo Vocational and Technical College, University in China.
